CENTRAL

baits; channel catfish good on shad, 2-8 ft., crappie fair on jigs
near brushpiles.
Hefner: Elevation 1 ft. above normal, water clear. Sand bass
fair trolling Rat-L-Traps or spinnerbaits; channel catfish good on
liver and cut bait; crappie good on minnows and jigs.
Konawa: Elevation normal, water 86 and clear. Black bass good on
plastic worms and topwater lures, 5-8 ft., in the weedbeds and
cattails; channel catfish good on chicken liver and cut shad, 15-20
ft., near the dam and south cove.
Murray: Elevation 5 ft. below normal, water 74 and clear. Black
bass fair on plastic worms and mediumrunning crankbaits; sand bass
fair on minnows and diving lures while trolling; crappie fair on
minnows and jigs.
Overholser: Sand bass fair on minnows and trolling Rat-L-Traps;
hybrids fair on liver, shrimp and cut shad; crappie fair on minnows
and jigs.
Thunderbird: Elevation normal. Channel catfish good on live
shad, 10-12 ft.; crappie fair; saugeye good on earthworms, minnows
and jigs; 10 ft., off points.
Wes Watkins: Elevation above normal, water 72 and clearing.
Black bass good on minnows spinnerbaits and plastic worms near
brushpiles and road beds; crappie good on minnows and jigs; sand
bass good on topwater lures.
NORTHEAST
Carl Blackwell: Elevation 1 ft. below normal, water 75 and
murky. Black bass good on plastic worms and topwater baits; sand
bass good on minnows and jigs; crappie good on minnows and jigs;
saugeye good trolling crankbaits.
Copan: Channel catfish fair in the tailwaters.
Eucha: Elevation normal, water 70 and clear. All fishing
reported good.
Fort Gibson: Elevation normal, water 70 and clear. Black bass
good on spinnerbaits and soft plastic baits; channel catfish
excellent on cut bait and worms; crappie good on minnows and jigs,
20 ft.
Grand: Sand bass good on spinnerbaits off rocky points; channel
catfish good on cut shad near rocks; crappie good on minnows and
jigs near brushpiles.
Greenleaf: Elevation normal, water clear. Black bass good on
spinnerbaits and crankbaits near shoreline and riprap; catfish fair
on cut bait on bottom; crappie good on minnows and jigs near docks
and brushpiles.
Hudson: Elevation normal, water 70. Black bass good on plastic
worms and topwater lures; channel catfish good on cut shad.
Kaw: Sand bass good on slabs, crankbaits and Little George
spinners, 5-15 ft., off sandy, windy points; striped bass good on
shad and topwater lures below the dam when generating; channel
catfish good on shrimp and worms, 1-3 ft., near rocky ledges.
Oologah: Channel catfish excellent on worms and liver at the
Wiganon Bridge and on worms and liver, 4-8 ft., near rocky banks.
Skiatook: Elevation normal, water 72 and clear lower, murky
upper. Black bass fair on soft plastic baits and spinnerbaits;
hybrids good on live shad and trolling crankbaits; channel catfish
good on all baits; crappie fair on minnows and jigs near bridge
piers and deep brushpiles.
Spavinaw: Elevation normal, water 70 and clear. All fishing
reported good.
Tenkiller: Elevation 1 ft. above normal, water clear. Black bass
good on all lure types; sand bass good trolling deep-diving
crankbaits; catfish excellent using small perch on trotlines.
Webbers Falls: Elevation normal, water murky. Black bass good on
spinnerbaits near riprap; channel catfish good on cut bait, liver
and worms on bottom.
SOUTHEAST
Eufaula: Elevation 1 ft. above normal, clear in the east, murky
in the west. Black bass good on soft plastic baits around willows;
sand bass good on minnows and jigs near bridges and below the dam
when generating; channel catfish good on assorted baits, 2-6 ft.,
near rocks; crappie fair on minnows and jigs, 10-20 ft., near
brushpiles and bridges.
Hugo: Elevation 3 ft. above normal, water 75. Black bass fair on
spinnerbaits; channel catfish fair on cut shad; crappie good on
live minnows.
McGee Creek: Elevation normal, water 76 and clear. Black bass
fair on soft plastic baits, 10-18 ft.; crappie fair on minnows, 20
ft., near brushpiles.
Pine Creek: Elevation 3 ft. above normal, water 70. Channel
catfish good on cut shad in river channels; crappie good on minnows
and jigs in the creek channels.
Robert S. Kerr: Elevation normal, water 70 and murky. Black bass
fair on soft plastic baits, spinnerbaits and crankbaits, 6-10 ft.,
near rocks; sand bass fair on shad type lures, 10-12 ft., near the
dam; channel catfish good on fresh shad or live bait, 3-10 ft.,
near rocky shorelines; crappie fair on minnows, 8-10 ft., in the
creek channels.
Texoma: Elevation normal, water 68 and clear. Black bass good on
spinnerbaits, 5-10 ft., near brushpiles; striped bass good on live
shad, 15-20 ft., near Burns Run; channel catfish good on cut bait,
5-10 ft., in the Washita River; crappie good on minnows, 15-20 ft.,
near brushpiles.
Wister: Elevation 3 ft. above normal, water muddy. Black bass
good on plastic worms and jig-and-pig combinations, 3-10 ft;
channel catfish good on cut shad and chicken liver, 3-7 ft., around
riprap; crappie fair on minnows, 8-20 ft., near standing brush.
NORTHWEST
Canton: Elevation above normal. Channel catfish good on cut bait
and live bait.
Fort Supply: Channel catfish fair on cut bait.
Great Salt Plains: Elevation above normal, water muddy. Channel
catfish fair on shad and stinkbaits.
SOUTHWEST
Ellsworth: Elevation normal, water 74 and murky. Sand bass good
trolling crankbaits and slab spoons; channel catfish fair on
chicken liver and stinkbait.
Foss: Hybrids fair on shad and minnows, 30 ft.; channel catfish
good on cut bait and shad in the upper end; saugeye fair on
medium-running crankbaits near the north shore.
Fort Cobb: Elevation above normal, water clear. Sand bass fair
trolling evenings along the dam; channel catfish good on cut bait,
10-12 ft., walleye and saugeye excellent trolling small crankbaits
along rocky shorelines and points.
Waurika: Elevation 1 ft. below normal, water murky. Sand bass
and hybrids good on shad in the early mornings; channel catfish
good on minnows, shrimp and stinkbait near rocks; blue catfish good
using shad on juglines, 20 ft..
All fishing is reported as slow at the following lakes: Atoka,
Draper, Sardis, Sooner, Tom Steed.
