(Tulsa-AP) -- A Tulsa jury has ruled in favor of a former anager at defunct Commercial Financial Services.

The jury says Gertrude A- Brady is entitled to keep the $500,000 she drew from a Tulsa bank when she left the debt-collection company.

C-F-S had sued in U-S District Court to recover the funds.

The jury found Tuesday that C-F-S "constructively terminated" Brady.

That qualified her for the payment under a management retention agreement.

Brady was former managing director of investor relations at C-F-S.

The company's lawyers argued that she had been fired for insubordination and was not eligible for the payment.

C-F-S once employed more than 3,900 in Oklahoma City and Tulsa but ceased operations last year.

The lawsuit is among scores of pending district court and bankruptcy cases involving the failed company.
