WASHINGTON (AP) — Bath & Body Works is recalling its Foam Burst Moisturizing Body Wash because of reports the product can cause eye irritation, the Food and Drug Administration announced Friday.
The company said people who don't follow the directions can get the foam in their eyes, where it could cause irritation.
It said it plans to change the dispenser. In the meantime, the company urged customers to stop using the foam and return it to the store for a refund.
Foam Burst was sold at Bath & Body Works stores across the country in 6.8 ounce aerosol containers. When the gel is sprayed it turns into a foam. It comes in various fragrances including cucumber, melon, and raspberry.
Consumers with questions can contact the company at 1-800-395-1001 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. EDT, Monday through Friday.
