(Denver-AP) -- Bombing conspirator Terry Nichols today appealed his conspiracy conviction in the Oklahoma City bombing.
His attorney, Susan Foreman, argued that Nichols was unfairly denied a new trial because of the prosecution's failure to disclose evidence.
In an opening brief, Foreman also claimed the district court improperly refused to order the government to turn over all of its F-B-I "lead sheets" or order certain court proceedings about the documents.
The brief was filed in the Tenth U-S Circuit Court of Appeals.
Nichols was convicted in 1997 of conspiracy and involuntary manslaughter in the April 19th, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P-Murrah Federal Building that killed 168 people. He is serving a life sentence.
Timothy McVeigh was separately convicted of murder and weapons counts and sentenced to die.
