OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Here are conditions at Oklahoma lakes as reported Wednesday by the state Department of Wildlife Conservation and lake rangers:


CENTRAL

Arbuckle: Elevation 4 feet below normal, water 50 and clear. Sand bass good on silver slabs, 50-55 feet.

Konawa: Elevation normal, water 50 and clear. Black bass fair on crank baits, 15 feet, in the discharge canal; sand bass fair on minnows and jigs, 15 feet, in the discharge canal.

Texoma: Elevation 4 feet below normal, water 50 and clear. Black bass fair on salt craws, 5-10 feet, off points; striped bass good on live shad, 15-25 feet, near the islands.

Thunderbird: Elevation 1 foot Below normal, water 50. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs, 6-8 feet.


NORTHEAST

Copan: Channel catfish fair on shad in the main body of the lake; crappie fair on minnows in the creek and river channels and near brush piles.

Eucha: Elevation normal, water 39 and clear. All fishing reported good.

Kaw: Elevation 2 feet below normal, water murky. Channel catfish good on stink bait in the upper river; crappie good on minnows and jigs near brush piles and below the dam.

Keystone: Elevation 1 foot below normal, water 42 and murky. Channel catfish fair on cut shad on jug lines.

Oologah: Elevation normal. Crappie good on chartreuse and white jigs below the dam.

Skiatook: Elevation 2 feet below normal, water clear. Crappie good on minnows and jigs near deep brush piles.

Sooner: Sand bass fair on crank baits and jigs in the discharge canal; hybrids fair on crank baits and jigs in the discharge canal.

Spavinaw: Elevation normal, water 39 and clear. All fishing reported good.

Tenkiller: Elevation two feet below normal. Water clear. Black bass fair using small spinner baits or curly tail jigs, 10 feet. Crappie good using small minnows and jigs over brush piles near boat docks and marinas, 25 feet. Sand bass good using small in-line spinners in shallow water off windy points. Catfish fair using cut shad on jug lines, 40 feet.


SOUTHEAST

Eufaula: Elevation 2 feet below normal, water clear. Sand bass fair on jigs below the dam; crappie fair on minnows and jigs, 8-20feet, near boat docks and brush piles.

Hugo: Elevation normal, water 47. Black bass fair on spinner baits; crappie fair on live minnows.

Robert S. Kerr: Elevation normal, water 47 and murky. Channel catfish good on fresh shad, 20-30 feet, in creek and river channels; crappie good on minnows, 10-12 feet, in deep water at the edge of creek channels.

Wister: Elevation normal, water murky. Channel catfish fair, 14-18 feet; crappie fair on minnows, 6-22 feet, in standing timber.


NORTHWEST

Canton: Elevation 1 foot below normal. Crappie good on minnows and jigs, 12-15 feet, near brush piles.

Great Salt Plains: Channel catfish fair on shad; saugeye fair on minnows and jigs.


SOUTHWEST

Foss: Elevation normal, water clear. Sand bass fair on shad and small jigs near the marina and off points; saugeye fair on medium-running lures and live shad around the marina and off points.

Tom Steed: Crappie good on minnows and jigs, 18-20 feet, nearthe dam and brush piles.

Waurika: Elevation 3 feet below normal. Channel catfish good on cut shad off windy points.

All fishing is reported as slow at the following lakes: Altus-Lugert, Atoka, Broken Bow, Draper, Ellsworth, Fort Gibson, Grand, Hudson, McGee Creek, Murray, Pine Creek.
