A section of Oklahoma 51 between Broken Arrow and Coweta will be named for William Bright, who founded the Campus Crusade for Christ organization.

Broken Arrow state Senator Scott Pruitt authored a resolution to dedicate the highway segment for Bright.

The segment will be dedicated Monday.

Bright is a Coweta native.

He founded the Campus Crusade for Christ at U-C-L-A in 1951.

He has written more than 50 books and is host of television and radio programs.
