A Tulsa County Sheriff’s deputy shot a Hectorville man early Wednesday morning.
Authorities say Danny Foutch[pictured] was shot after he scuffled with Tulsa County and Okmulgee County deputies outside a rural home on the Okmulgee-Tulsa County line. Deputies were serving a warrant at the time of the incident.
The Tulsa County Sheriff’s office says deputies surrounded the home and ordered Foutch to surrender. After exiting the home, Foutch allegedly confronted several deputies, knocking one to the ground. Another deputy, Tulsa County assessor Ken Yazel, shot Foutch in the hip. Yazel is a reserve deputy with the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.
Foutch was taken to a Tulsa hospital for treatment. The deputy was also taken to the hospital for minor injuries, where he was treated and released.
