LAWTON, Okla. (AP) -- A group of about 130 soldiers with the Arkansas-based National Guard's 39th Infantry Brigade returned to Fort Sill Thursday and watched as one of their members proposed to his girlfriend.

Specialist Trent Sewell of Paris, Arkansas, was called to the front of the ceremony where he dropped to one knee and asked Brandy Webb of Howe to marry him.

She said yes.

The 3,000-plus soldier brigade was called to active duty in late October 2003 and has been in Iraq since last March. Other members of the brigade will be returning to the US through March. Soldiers will spend about a week at Fort Sill before returning home.

One member of the brigade was Specialist Lyle Rymer II[pictured] of Roland, who was killed by sniper fire January 28th in Iraq while guarding members of his unit who were helping prepare security for the Iraq elections.
