TROY, Mich. (AP) _ As the N-H-L lockout drags to its 142nd day, Detroit Red Wings star Nicklas Lidstrom says he doesn't think the league's latest proposal is worth voting on.
The sides met for the third straight day, but made no progress on the major stumbling block: a salary cap.
The N-H-L has insisted on a link between league revenues and player costs. But the players' association has steadfastly refused that as a solution to end the season-long lockout.
Lidstrom checked the players' association Web site for an update this morning before going to a rink in suburban Detroit for yet another lackluster hockey workout.
He says that after several months, the casual workouts have become a drag.
