DALLAS (AP) _ Defending Big 12 baseball tournament champion Oklahoma State is picked by league coaches to finish 3rd in the conference this season.

The coaches pick Oklahoma to finish 7th.

Texas is picked to win the conference, followed by Texas A&M, OSU and Baylor. Nebraska is picked fifth, then Texas Tech, OU, Missouri, Kansas and Kansas State.

Colorado and Iowa don't field teams.

The Big 12 season begins this week with three games, including Oklahoma State at home against Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The other gams are Texas at San Diego State and Kansas at Hawaii-Hilo.
