OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Bus stops in six Oklahoma cities are being shut down by Greyhound.
The Dallas-based bus line is closing 62 other bus stops in a nine-state region from Missouri to California. Greyhound spokeswoman Kim Plaskett says the company is trying to reduce its costs and expedite travel.
The stops in Oklahoma being closed are in Clinton, Weatherford, Chelsea, Claremore, Miami and Vinita.
Oklahoma now has 19 Greyhound bus stops, including major stations in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
