The News on 6's efforts to collect blankets for Project Warmth got a boost Wednesday night.

Folks at Chapel Creek Baptist Church at 9246 South Sheridan donated 4 child sized blankets and one grown up size blanket. They made them all.

It is not too late for you to get involved. Take any gently used blanket, or quilt to an area LaMode Cleaners or Western Sun Federal Credit Union by Friday.

LaMode will clean the items and then Volunteers of America will distribute them to those in need.
