Board recommends parole for convicted killers

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The state Pardon and Parole Board is recommending parole for four convicted killers, including two serving life sentences.
The board recommends parole for Charles Myers and Orlando Stevenson. Myers was sentenced to life for first-degree murder in 1967 and Stevenson was given life in 1980 for first-degree murder.
Also recommended for parole are Howard Pittman and Terry Chance. Pittman was convicted of murder in 1987 and is due to be released in 2015 while Chance was convicted of murder in 1985 and is to be released in 2008.
The recommendations now go to Governor Brad Henry for review.
