There is still no word on what sparked a fatal house fire Wednesday afternoon in Tulsa. It started at 4 PM at a home in the 1900 block of North Evanston Place.

Fire crews arrived to heavy smoke and flames. 55-year-old Larry Watson died in the fire. His mother-in-law, 83-year-old Louise McCorkle, made it out of the home safely.

Tulsa fire crews went back to that neighborhood Thursday to pass out free smoke detectors to residents who need them.
