Many of Green Country's young people are joining in to do what they can for victims of the tsunami.

Lucie Bradshaw and Jenna Holmes came up with a proposal for Tulsa's Carver Middle School students to raise money.

Right now, they're collecting coins in each classroom and the class that raises the most will be rewarded. Lucie Bradshaw: "When we heard the stories of the kids and their families who had been washed away, and that over half of the victims were children, it really struck us. I can't imagine my family being washed away and we wanted to do whatever we could."

The girls say in two days they've raised $230. They also hope to start selling bracelets to raise even more money.
