OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The Oklahoma Heritage Association is seeking nominations for the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.
Association Chairman Clayton Bennett says six to seven people will be inducted into the hall of fame in November.
Living honorees must be a resident or former resident of Oklahoma. They must have performed outstanding service to humanity, the state and nation and be known for their contributions to society.
Officials say deceased nominees must have made major contributions nationally or internationally. A maximum of one deceased person will be inducted each year.
The deadline for nominations is 5 p-m, March 11th. Nominations should be sent to the Oklahoma Heritage Association, 201 Northwest 14th Street 14, Oklahoma City, 7-3-1-0-3.
