Christmas came early for some young Tulsans with special needs.

The Tulsa Downtown Lions Club threw a party Tuesday morning for special needs students at Hoover Elementary School. The Lions will visit more schools in Tulsa this week.

Tulsa Lions Club president, Gaylond Pinc: "We provide the gifts, teachers go shopping, Santa helps distribute those gifts."

The Lions, along with Santa Claus, will distribute about 130 gifts to seven Tulsa schools.
