Heavy rain eroded the banks of a creek near a Tulsa cemetery this weekend and exposed three coffins. A state medical examiner visited Rose Hill Memorial Park to examine the decades-old remains after the cemetery owner reported them on Saturday. He says the bodies were originally buried about 90 years ago without headstones, which makes it very difficult to locate any family members.
"The contact information that we're going to have, a lot of those people have passed on also, so we're going to have to find a way to search to find some grandchildren," Nick Reynolds with Rose Hill Cemetery said.
Reynolds says that they'll be working with the state to help notify any family members.
