RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- The NASCAR Nextel Cup race at Richmond International Raceway has been postponed by rain after eleven laps.

It will be run Sunday beginning at 1:15 p.m. Eastern time. It will start from the beginning with the laps run before the postponement not counting.

Jeff Gordon, the NASCAR Nextel Cup points lead, is gunning for his third straight win after capturing races at Phoenix and Talladega.
