ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) _ The Minnesota Vikings are reportedly considering surgery for former Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson.
A newspaper report says the team will decide if a plate is needed to stabilize the collarbone Peterson broke last season and reinjured during the Fiesta Bowl.
Peterson says the bone is healing and won't hold him back from anything.
The Vikings selected Peterson with the 7th pick in the first round of the NFL draft.
