AUSTIN, Texas (AP) _ Aaron Reza went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Joseph Hughes gave up two runs on six hits as Oklahoma defeated Texas 5-2 on Sunday.
Oklahoma (21-9, 3-3 Big 12) took a 1-0 lead in the third on Joe Dunigan's RBI single to left field. Texas (25-9, 7-2) came back and took a 2-1 lead in the fourth when Kyle Russell hit a sacrifice fly to score Jordan Danks and Preston Clark got his fourth homer of the season.
But the Sooners rallied with three runs in the fifth. Aaron Baker had a single to left field to score Aaron Ivey. Reza hit a two-run single up the middle. The inning ended when Reza was called out while trying to steal second.
Jackson Williams added a run in the eighth with his second home run of the season.
Hughes (5-1) struck out three and walked one in five innings. Nich Conaway picked up his second save of the season for the Sooners as he struck out four and allowed one hit in four innings of relief.
Reliever Keith Shinaberry (0-2) took the loss for Texas. He gave up one run on one hit in 2-3 inning.
Danks went 3-for-3 for the Longhorns.
