OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The University of Oklahoma Board of Regents received two, $2 million donations and elected new officers on Thursday.

OU President David Boren says the Inasmuch Foundation is giving $2 million to the OU Cancer Institute for a cancer outreach program, an endowed chair and to start a family services program.

And he says the Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation is giving $2 million to the journalism program to continue an expansion of the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication.

The regents also elected Tom Clark of Tulsa as its new chairman and John Stuart of Tulsa as vice chairman.

Clark replaces Paul Austin of Oklahoma City as chairman. Austin's term as chairman is expiring.
