BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) _ Old Dominion was in it, and then it was out.
Pete Campbell hit three 3-pointers during a 17-0 second half run today and Butler rallied to a 57-46 victory over the Monarchs in the NCAA tournament.
Butler won its school-record 28th game of the season and advanced to the second round against Maryland. The Terps beat Davidson earlier by an 82-70 score.
Old Dominion lost for only the second time in 14 games and finished 24-9.
The Monarchs were led by Brandon Johnson with 11 points.
