NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Aaron Baker had 2-RBIs and scored 5-runs to help Oklahoma beat Western Illinois 24-4 in college baseball.
The Sooners scored 7-runs in the 1st inning and never looked back in sealing the series win Saturday. Oklahoma beat the Leathernecks 1-0 on Friday.
After Oklahoma took a 7-0 lead, Western Illinois had a pair of runs in the 3rd inning and a solo score in the 3rd to narrow the deficit to 7-3. But the Sooners responded with 5-runs in the 5th inning, 3-in the 6th and 7th and 6-in their last at-bat in the 8th inning.
With the win, the Sooners improve to 4-4, while the Leathernecks fall to 6-4.
