NEW YORK (AP) _ Hornets point guard Chris Paul will replace injured MVP Steve Nash in the All-Star Skills Challenge this weekend in Las Vegas.
It's the second straight year that Paul will take part in the competition against some of the league's best players.
He'll go up against Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and defending champion Dwyane Wade in the timed obstacle course that tests dribbling, passing and shooting skills.
The competition is part of the NBA's All-Star Saturday Night that also includes a 3-point shootout and a slam dunk contest.
Paul will also play in the rookie challenge that pits the league's best first-year players against its best second-year players.
