AMES, Iowa (AP) _ The Iowa State men are looking to end a dry spell tonight when Oklahoma visits Hilton Coliseum in Ames.

The Cyclones have lost seven of the past eight games while OU is on a roll.

The Sooners have won four straight including last Saturday's victory at Baylor, which gave new OU coach Jeff Capel his first Big 12 road win.

Iowa State's recent win over Baylor was also significant -- but for entirely different reasons. The Cyclones' 71-to-58 victory over the Bears was the only one Iowa State has had since January tenth.

Iowa State is 12-and-12 overall and 3-and-7 in the Big 12. Oklahoma is 15-and-8 and 6-and-4.

Tipoff is 7 p.m.
