Tulsa police say they've stopped a man who was on a murdering spree. Nineteen year old Joshua Anderson faces five counts of murder. Police say the killings happened between November and last Friday at four locations in Tulsa.
Records show Anderson faces a murder count for killing Evaristo Tobias on November 5th. Tobias was found in the street at 700 North Madison after being shot with a shotgun, said police. He also faces a murder count in the death of Christopher Mederow. He was found shot to death on January 23rd in the 1100 block of East Haskell Place. Documents show Anderson faces another murder count for the shooting death of David Gilbert, who was found in a yard in the 1500 block of East Independence, also on January 23rd. And he faces two additional murder charges for the murders of two people whose bodies were burned last Friday inside a home in the 500 block of North Quaker.
Anderson has been in the Tulsa jail since Friday on rape and burglary complaints. He also has a warrant out of his arrest in Muskogee for rape and burglary, said officials.
