A Muskogee teacher faces new charges after being accused of inappropriate contact with students.
Brian Giacomo returned to Muskogee County court, just two months after the first allegations of sexual misconduct surfaced. In November, Giacomo resigned his position as band director at Hilldale Schools. He was accused of an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old student through a popular website.
Prosecutors say he molested that girl. Another girl, who was 14 at the time, has also come forward. Muskogee County Assistant DA Nikki Baker-Dotson says, "this relationship took place over an eleven-month period. I believe he is a threat to young females, in that he has had two different victims. this just doesn't happen once."
Giacomo now faces six new counts, including second degree rape. His bail is set at $100,000.
