OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education have a new chancellor.

Former state representative and Southeastern Oklahoma State University President Glen Johnson was sworn in as chancellor Wednesday.

He succeeds Paul Risser who resigned last July to take a job in research at the University of Oklahoma.

Vice Chancellor Phil Moss has been serving as interim chancellor.
