Tulsa Contract Worker Killed At Iraq Military Base

A Tulsa man is dead after an explosion at a military base in Iraq.
38-year-old contract worker Michael Brian McNiel is the fourth Oklahoma civilian to be killed in the war. McNiel was working for the Halliburton subsidiary KBR when he died October 31st in the explosion in Tikrit.
KBR provides base-camp services in support of the military.
93 KBR employees and subcontractors have died while working under US government contracts in Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait.
