OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Hornets coach Byron Scott says he's pleased with his team's weeklong training camp in New Orleans. Now he wants to see how that productivity translates into game action.
The Hornets practiced Monday at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City, where they will begin their seven-game preseason schedule today against the defending NBA Western Conference champions, the Dallas Mavericks.
The Hornets then host the Orlando Magic on Friday.
For the second straight season, the Hornets will play most of their regular-season home games in Oklahoma City, with a planned full-time return to New Orleans for the 2007-2008 campaign.
