MADISON, Miss. (AP) _ Bixby's Bo Van Pelt shot a three-under-par 69 and is four shots off the lead entering the second day of the PGA Tour's Southern Farm Bureau Classic in Mississippi.

DJ Trahan is in the lead after a round of seven-under par 65 Thursday. Three golfers are two strokes back in a tie for second, and there's a six-way tie for fifth.

Van Pelt is in a group of six golfers tied for eleventh. He's seeking his first career PGA Tour win. The former Oklahoma State golfer's highest finish this year was sixth place at the Wachovia Championship.
