A Tulsa man finally wins his fight to get his new bride out of war torn Iraq.

Hassan Ahmed is headed to Jordan to meet up with his wife, for the first time since their wedding 10 months ago.

Ahmed is an American citizen, but his wife is not. She had to stay in Baghdad until she got government approval to leave.

There's still some paperwork that needs to be done, but the happy couple hopes to be back in Tulsa by the end of the year.
