Oklahomans are helping hurricane victims in a number of ways.
Oklahoma's Blood Institute held blood drives all over the state, like one at their Tulsa office on Saturday. There was another drive as well on Saturday at Woodland Hills Mall, along with OSU and OU tailgate parties, all to encourage people to donate blood.
OBI officials say they're monitoring the blood supply in the Gulf States and anticipate shortage because of the Labor Day weekend.
