MOBILE, Ala. (AP) -- Jurors in the Alabama murder trial of an Oklahoma man accused of killing women in at least three states will be allowed to hear his alleged confession.

A judge is denying a defense bid to suppress statements Jeremy Jones of Miami, Oklahoma made to detectives, but says jurors won't be allowed to see television interviews with Jones. His lawyers say the statements could've been influenced by an anti-psychotic drug he was given at the Mobile County Jail.

Jones is to go on trial October 17th in Alabama for murder and he's also charged with murder in Georgia and Louisiana.

Jones has been connected to the December 1999 deaths of Danny and Kathy Freeman at their home in northeastern Oklahoma and the disappearance of the Freeman's 16-year-old daughter Ashley, and her friend Lauria Bible.

The Freeman's bodies were found in the rubble of their burned mobile home, the two girls have never been found.
