YUKON, Okla. (AP) A former Yukon police officer fired in a police sex scandal is cited in nearby Union City for transporting an open container of beer.

Union City police say Chad Mayberry was stopped July 22nd. Officers didn't believe he was intoxicated, but cited him for transporting the open container, which carries a fine of $69.00.

Mayberry was fired June 30th in a police sex scandal that led to the resignation of three officers. He recently filed a grievance seeking reinstatement.

Mayberry is among five officers disciplined in connection with allegations of on-duty sexual contact with a former convenience store clerk.
