You just never know when good fortune may shine on you or when the change in your pocket, might actually change your life.
Nathan Burton was hungry, so he stopped in at a neighborhood Quik Trip to get a hot dog. Later in his change, he found a dime with a minting mistake. It's silver on one side and copper on the other.
He took it to a coin dealer, who told him he'd do some checking and get back to him. "After that, they were gonna give me an appraisal and possible that I might sell it."
News on 6 reporter Rick Wells: "What if it's only worth 50 cents?"
Nathan Burton: "That would be fine I thought it was neat just to have it."
The News on 6 contacted a coin dealer and we are told although not rare, these misprints are unusual, and on e-Bay they sometimes sell for a hundred dollars or more.
