It's not quite the Olympics, but Tulsa hosted another pretty big competition over the weekend.
More than 100 of the top high school senior welders from six different states were in town to compete and showcase their skills.
The folks from Tulsa Welding School say there was a lot at stake. Ken White with the Tulsa Welding School: “we're offering lots of different prizes - scholarships, gear and equipment packages, things like that, as well as an opportunity for these young men to find out how good they really are and to explore some opportunities in welding.â€
We're told some of contestants traveled pretty far to be here for the competition, including four students from Arizona!
