OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- State and federal officials say about $800,000 has been sent to Oklahoma familes affected by wildfires in 12 counties declared federal disaster areas.
About 240 families have applied for help through the Federal Emergency Management Agency and state officials are trying to get more counties declared disaster areas.
Phillip Parr with FEMA says it's not clear how much more money will be available for Oklahomans, but he says the state's needs will be met.
