VINITA, Okla. (AP) -- Authorities say a third person has died in an accident in Craig County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Travis Lee Hale died just before 11 AM Tuesday from injuries he sustained in Monday's accident near Vinita.

The 23-year-old Afton man was riding in a pickup truck that ran off Oklahoma Highway 2.

Troopers say 22-year-old Justin Andrew Thomas was dead on arrival at a Joplin, Missouri, hospital following the 12:37 PM accident, while 20-year-old Jason Jay Turnbough suffered massive injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The patrol says Thomas was driving north on the highway when the vehicle ran off the road, overturned and came to rest on its tires.

Troopers say the impact threw Thomas 150 feet and Hale was thrown about 50 feet from the vehicle. Turnbough was pinned under the truck for 90 minutes.

Investigators don't know what caused the vehicle to leave the road.
