Oklahoma girl gets a special gift from Mattel for Christmas

A special 5-year old gets a Christmas present she'll never forget. It all started with an email to the Mattel company a few weeks ago. <br/><br/>Morgan has been through a lot in her short life.

A special 5-year old gets a Christmas present she'll never forget. It all started with an email to the Mattel company a few weeks ago.

Morgan has been through a lot in her short life. 7 surgeries to fix a cleft lip and palette and she's getting ready for another. When she started school last year the kids teased her for looking different, for wearing hearing aids and glasses. Morgan asked her mom why she couldn't look like her favorite playmate, Barbie.

The family turned to Mattel, pleading for a Barbie who looked like Morgan. The toy giant responded by making a special doll just for her. For such a big company to go so far for one little girl, made this whole family's Christmas dream come true.

Morganâ€™s mom Amber Marloweâ€ "It wasn't until we brought it home and took her out of the box and she could actually see the hearing aids that she said. Hey she looks like me!"

Mattel donated the doll.

Morgan says she plans to take her new friend everywhere, even the doctorâ€™s office.
