Tulsa fire crews spent Wednesday morning airing out the former Rose Bowl building.
A crew inside the building at 7419 East 11th was removing asbestos Wednesday morning when they hit a valve releasing natural gas inside. The building next door was evacuated as a precaution.
Fire crews say not a lot of gas was released and wasn’t any danger to nearby businesses. Crews were able to ventilate the building by opening a few doors.
