OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Former Lieutenant Governor Jack Mildren says he's still undecided whether he'll run for Congress.

Mildren says other Democrats are encouraging him to run for the seat being vacated by Congressman Ernest Istook, who's running for governor. But Mildren says there are many considerations and he just hasn't decided yet.

Meanwhile, former Oklahoma City Councilman Mark Schwartz says he's considering getting into the race for the Democratic nomination. Schwartz says he's watching to see which Democrats will run and hopes to decide by early November.

Teacher Bert Smith of Oklahoma City is the only Democrat actively campaigning for the seat and Oklahoma City businessman Jim Meyer is considering the race.

Lieutenant Governor Mary Fallin, Corporation Commissioner Denise Bode (BOH'-dee), state Representative Fred Morgan and Charlie Meadows are running for the Republican nomination.
