TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Two of Tulsa's leading energy companies are forming a joint venture to build a 750-mile natural gas pipeline from Wyoming to Kansas.
The pipeline will be designed to transport 110,000 barrels per day of natural gas liquids. Additional pump facilities would increase the capacity to 150,000 barrels per day.
Pipeline construction is expected to begin in summer 2007, with start-up scheduled for early 2008. The pipeline project is estimated to cost about $450-million.
