TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- A student who claimed she was raped at a local high school has recanted her claims, according to police.

Tulsa police announced Monday morning that a student at Nathan Hale High School who reported being raped on Thursday disavowed those comments.

"The case is being closed and there will be no further action," officer Scott Walton said.

No arrests had been made in the case, nor had there been any public announcement on suspects in the case.
