OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A former governor and first lady, a Broadway producer and four others have been chosen as Living Treasures.
The Oklahoma Health Center Foundation will honor the six at the Treasures for Tomorrow celebration April 4th in Oklahoma City.
The Living Treasures award pays tribute to people whose passion for life, their courage and inspiring actions serve as a model for quality values and goodness in Oklahoma City.
This year, former Governor George Nigh and first lady Donna Nigh; producer Max Weitzenhoffer, restaurateur Avis Scaramucci and oilman Ray Potts and his wife -- founder of the Center for Nonprofits -- Pat Potts, were selected for the honor.
The past six years the Treasures for Tomorrow event and donors have raised funds for beautification projects on the Oklahoma Health Center campus.
