Norman Grocery Store Says Employee Tested Positive For Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Crest Foods president Bruce Harroz said that one of his employees at the Norman location has tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Harroz confirmed the news in a letter posted to the company's Facebook page on Sunday.

While Harroz said the company does not have any "documentation from this employee" confirming a positive COVID-19 test, the company is "treating this case as a confirmed positive and taking appropriate steps as outlined by the State and Federal government."

In the letter, Harroz described the employee as a woman who last worked at the Norman location on March 15.

Since then, Crest Foods took steps to "fully disinfect the store."

The Norman location will remain open at this time.
