The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission has been changing things up to keep up with the high-volume of claims being filed every day.
So far, they have upped the people working in their call center from 11 people to more than 200, and plan to add more by the end of next week. They also rolled out a new website to keep up with filings.

“I think the last stat I saw was, we had 139,00 claims filed since March 15 which is already 40,000 more than what we had last year,” said OESC Director Jim Polly.
They also held a virtual town hall on Friday to answer questions if they have been running into problems with filing or with their claim.
Officials are asking if you need to file for unemployment that you do so online at oesc.ok.gov.
