Broken Arrow Public Schools will celebrate the class of 2020 through an online celebration Tuesday night.
This is not meant to take the place of a traditional, in-person graduation.
The district has said an in-person graduation will happen on June 30 at Broken Arrow Memorial Stadium but only if all COVID-19 bans are lifted from the city and state.
Tuesday night's virtual celebration will include speeches from Superintendent Dr. Janet Dunlop, Broken Arrow High School Principal Liz Burns, Student Council President Haylee Floyd, Senior Class President Peyton Dayer, and Representative from the Class of Distinction Denali Huffman.
The event will happen at 7 p.m. on the district's YouTube page.
The district asks anyone who is watching to tag them in photos and videos posted on social media using the hashtag #BA20AtHomeTogether.
