If you are looking for something for dinner why not try out this recipe for Crab Cake Italiano from our friends at Olivetto.
Chopped Shrimp ½ pound
Crab Meat 1 pound
Mayo ¼ cup
Water ¼ cup
Cajun Seasoned bread crumbs 6 oz.
Egg, beaten 1
Panko Breading ½ cup
Angel Hair Pasta 6 oz.
Lemon Garlic Butter 3 oz.
Mushrooms 2 oz.
Diced Tomatoes 2 oz.
Asiago Cheese 1 oz.
Alfredo sauce 2 oz.
Chipotle Aioli 1 oz. Drizzle
Mix shrimp, crabmeat, mayo, water, Cajun breadcrumbs and egg together thoroughly. Portion your crab cakes and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Once chilled, cook crab cakes in a hot saute pan with olive oil for 4 minutes on each side.
While crab cakes are cooking, saute mushrooms in lemon garlic butter. Once mushrooms are soft, add tomatoes, asiago cheese and angel hair pasta. Toss to mix. Land pasta in center of plate and drizzle 2 oz of Alfredo sauce over the top. Place crab cakes on top of pasta and drizzle with Chipotle aioli. Garnish with parsley.
